The Advertising Dracula Is Killing Me

The influx of people into the network marketing industry today is phenomenal. I mean, at record rates there are more start up companies and desirous entrepreneurs than ever before. With that said, the ignorance level on how to market their business opportunity, especially on the web, has risen too. Dracula is sucking the life out of the wallets of thousands. Not to mention out of their desire as well.

How To Advertise Your Home-Based-Business

Imagine the masses of people who have flocked to the web for the first time knowing nothing about how to market on the internet. Huge hole here! Newbie, network marketing entrepreneurs in a world they know nothing about. It is like going to another country with a whole new custom, language, monetary system, and government. So, just how do you advertise your home based business on the web?

Good question. It is important first to understand who you are trying to reach. This means you must know your market. That requires a little research. Start asking yourself some questions about your market. Also, think about what type of product and service you are offering. See the google adwords keyword research tool. This is a great tool to help find out what potential prospects and customers are searching for in the google search engine.

  • Do you know who your target market is?
  • Who is looking for my product or service?
  • What type of people am I looking to enroll?
Knowing your target market is key to setting your focus when choosing a method of advertising on the internet. Let me give you an example. I am a distributor for an all natural energy drink company. My target market, customer wise, are those who drink energy drinks, such as athletes, college students, people who weight train, and etc. My age bracket is between 13 and 35 mainly. OK, so that is getting an idea of who my market is based on what my product is.

There are two parts to my business opportunity, as is with yours. You have customers and prospects for the business part of it - enrollees. Not everyone will join, but some will become customers. This is where you begin to understand how to build a bridge from your prospect to your product. Find out what they are looking for and how you can help with what you have to offer. To do that you need to find the stream where all your fish are.
